Leadership Team

Kyle Scheuer, MSc

CEO | Electrical Engineering

Kyle has a Master's degree in Photonics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, with previous experience in R&D for scientific equipment.

Dr. Ray DeCorby, PhD, P.Eng

CTO | Optical Engineering

Ray is a Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta and Director of the Engineering Physics program. His expertise in integrated optics, optical cavities, and waveguides is at the heart of Ultracoustics' sensing instrumentation.

Ayden Chen, BSc

COO | Mechanical Engineering

Ayden holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and leads firmware development and mechanical design at Ultracoustics.

Brad Spencer, BSc, P.Eng

Advisor | Business Development

Brad is an experienced telecom executive who spent over 30 years at TELUS, most recently as Vice President. He joined Ultracoustics as an advisor and has since taken on additional roles in business development and communication.
